T. Kaye is the backbone of SweetFire's high-energy live shows. The energetic female force in front of the band is an international recording and touring artist with extensive performance experience gaining her radio and chart success internationally.
This versatile group is proud to have a female lead singer and three male singers as well and strong harmonies that really add to the great mix of crowd pleasers from New and Classic Country hits to Southern Rock favorites.
T. Kaye started in the music business in the 90's in Corpus Christi, Texas and has been working professionally and fronting her own band in Texas, Nationally, and Internationally ever since.
" Getting to work in this awesome business is a dream come true, ever since I was a little girl, this is all I ever wanted to do" Her debut CD Texas Weather was cut in Nashville at LSI Studios and received some strong international exposure, charting in 19 countries form the Netherlands to Australia. Texas Weather held #1 in Belgium for 14 weeks. The success of Texas Weather launched T. Kaye onto international stages. She headlined several concert tours in Scandinavia and Europe.
T. Kaye welcomed the opportunity in 2007 to record some great traditional material for the overseas market. The CD One Bridge Left To Burn is straight up Texas Honky Tonk! The six week tour was a success and One Bridge Left To Burn again got some great plays internationally.
T. Kaye and SweetFire have been busy this year playing dates in Texas. The group had the special experience of opening for John Connally and the great Johnny Rodriguez this fall. Rose Colored Glasses and That's The Way Love Goes under the Texas stars is quite awesome!
This high energy group has entertained at many fairs and festivals including the Houston Bar-B-Q rodeo Kickoff, Poteet Strawberry Festival, Fulton OysterFest, Corpus Christi BayFest,Cancer Relay For Life, Cuero Turkey Fest, Yoakum Land Of Leather Fest, Freer Rattlesnake Roundup, Laredo George Washington's Fest, and many more as well as clubs and private events in The great state of Texas.
T. Kaye and SweetFire has opened for such artists as Lee Ann Womack, Johnny Rodriguez, John Connally, Frenchie Burke, Darrell McCall, Ricky Skaggs, Darrin Brown, Jason Allen, Scott Wiggins, Aaron Watson, Heather Miles, and Leona Williams to name a few.
